"Recorded throughout 2012, the first release under the Aging moniker pays homage to ECM's solo piano recordings. Like those records, I Swear I Saw Her Halo is a meditative suite of songs focusing on the timbral quality of the piano, utilising natural reverb and the crystalline space in-between notes to create a rich programme of material. Referencing the likes of François Couturier, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Misha Alperin, Aging thoughtfully balances melody and experimentation in series of slow-burning and evocative vignettes. Darkly bewitching and perfect for nocturnal consumption. "
